Perfected kinematics
Being the trail bike par excellence, Stumpjumper 15 finds the perfect mix of efficiency and optimum shock force management. For the anti-squat on the Stumpjumper 15, Specialized found a balance between the Stumpjumper and the Stumpjumper EVO, as both had excellent pedalling characteristics.
Improved geometry
The geometry of this bike offers great capacity when you need it, agility in tight sections, and efficiency when climbing. The wide cockpit centres you on the bike, optimising traction and control in corners. The low bottom bracket, relaxed head angle and optimised fork offset promote stability even on technical terrain.
Your way
The Stumpjumper 15 seamlessly integrates geometry adjustment, making it the most customisable trail bike ever. Six distinct geometry settings allow you to fine-tune performance for any style and terrain. Steering angle and bottom bracket height can be precisely adjusted for stability or lightness.
Form follows fun
Specialized can make a frame as rigid as we want, but we must be careful not to go beyond a certain limit. To feel at one with the bike, you need a certain degree of flexibility programmed into the frame. Specialized designed the front and rear frames as a whole that had to meet certain stiffness targets, suitable for trail riding.
Wheel sizes
Traditional spring models have a mullet set-up. All models in S1 and S2 sizes are supplied as mullets to ensure a geometry suitable for shorter bikers. .
Wheel choice
With aftermarket links you can choose between large wheels on the front and rear, or you can use a 27.5" rear wheel for a more responsive and playful ride. Whatever you choose, the geometry is not affected.

The SWAT 4.0 compartment on the Stumpjumper 15 increases space in the down tube, an innovation we pioneered. It is the most practical and weatherproof recessed system ever made.
