Scott Cadence Plus helmet
The Cadence Plus is a racing helmet designed for high performance and maximum comfort. Through extensive tests in a wind-tunnel, every detail of this helmet has been analysed. With its aerodynamic and sleek design, the Cadence Plus gives optimal airflow and cooling, enhancing the riders comfort and keeping them focused during intense performances. Its new MIPS air node technology allows for optimal protection against rotational impacts, while the clip-in rear light ensures safety and visibility during low-light conditions. The separately sold front vent plugs ensure aero optimization and warmth in cold weather, while the magnetic buckle provides secure and easy fastening.

Technologies
PC In-Mold construction
During the in-mold manufacturing process, the outer shell of polycarbonate material is fused with the helmet’s impact absorbent foam liner, creating a super lightweight outer shell. With reduced weight and bulk surrounding the head, in-mould helmets are more comfortable than traditional helmets.
MIPS® Safety System
The brain is typically more sensitive to rotational motion than linear motion because it has shear properties similar to water or gel. When different parts of the brain move relative to each other because of rotational motion, the tissues can stretch, which can cause concussions or other brain injuries. Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions and more severe brain injury in oblique hits to the head. The Mips® safety system consists of a low friction layer mounted inside the helmet. In a crash, the low friction layer is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head. This is intended to help reduce the risk of brain injury.
Aero optimized
Scott engineers worked with Team Orica-GreenEdge to determine a clear set of objectives when designing a Split Aero helmet. The team asked for a helmet with the lowest drag coefficient possible, an advenced optical solution, a fully integrated visor, a dynamic ventilation system, and of course an adjustable, comfortable fit so that was done with success!
Optimized venting
Strategically placed outer vents connects to extensive inner cooling channels.
Sunglasses stowage
For those moments when you need to take your sunglasses off, cleverly designed sunglasses stowage keeps them secure.
Rear Safety Light
Rear light ensures visibility in both daylight and night conditions.
