These pedals were for my son who is very happy with them.

Quality pedals with a solid platform and soft release

The entry and release is much softer than Shimano which allows for more float and so feels more like a flat pedal but with the benefits of being clipped in. The platform is supportive but will work best with flatter soles shoes. I have Giro Terraduro. I switch these to my road/cross bike happily. Expensive but so far I can see why and am glad I made the swap fro. Shimano.
