When we think of a jacket that is beautiful to wear, the first thing that comes to mind is our Perfetto, as it is indeed the perfect garment for many occasions. But we want it to stand out from the rest. The Perfetto RoS 2 is ideal when it's not raining, thanks to its high breathability, but also when it's raining, thanks to the exclusive fabric developed by Castelli, GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER®. It has a lightweight, waterproof fleece lining on the front and a lighter, stretch fabric on the back to optimise breathability and provide excellent waterproofing. The Perfetto RoS 2 Jacket lets out all the cold and is much more breathable than the typical polyurethane membrane usually used in models similar to the Perfetto. If you're dry, you don't need many more layers. The beauty of this jacket is that it doesn't have an insulating fabric per se, so when the weather is mild a thin baselayer is more than enough, and when it's colder an insulating layer (a thermal jersey or Castelli's Cold Days 2nd Layer) will be perfect. The choice is yours. The ‘2’ in its name refers to the fact that it's an updated version, which includes the YKK® Vislon® two-way zip for better ventilation control. The reflective detail on the back is more visible, the over-the-shoulder seam has been moved to the back, and the three pockets are roomier. Although the Perfetto has a performance fit, the new model has a more generous cut for the chest, shoulders and biceps. It is one of those jackets that will enchant all cyclists.
